A. T. Qureshi is a Pakistani-American author of Muslim background. She grew up on Long Island in a multilingual household where English, Urdu, and Punjabi were spoken. As a child, she was already writing her own stories and reading secretly after bedtime. An award-winning author, she draws on her connection to Pakistan and its culture in her novels.
