Habe zwischen 3-4 Sternen geschwankt. Es ist an und für sich ein gutes Buch, obwohl es eine Memoire ist die Perspektive doch sehr kalt und die Storyline kaum fesselnd. Sie stellt ihre Zeit auf eine feministische Weise dar, was spannend ist. Mir sind zu viele Pop Culture Referenzen etc. vorhanden, sodass für mich kein Lesefluss entsteht. „Etwas von der Zeit retten, in der man nie wieder sein wird.“ S. 255

Ernaux writes in a new form of narrative, which makes the book worth reading and interesting. She presents her own life story in an overview, firmly interwoven in the overall social environment from the "she" perspective. Although the book is a clever, self-critical and witty observation on the course of the decades (especially of life in France), it was not as captivating for me as other of her books (but I also think that this was not ernaux's aim with this book).
