Reviewed by burzekslinsteadI simultaneously couldn't care less for any of the characters (with the exception of Lucas, maybe but still) and sort of hated most of them to be honest. Which is kind of sad because I did want to like it :( Instead, I finished it only because I am stubborn and refuse to dnf books even when I should. there is a part of me that thinks I'm judging this too harshly but I don't know. I knew what to expect when I picked up a forbidden romance since it's not the first one of its kind that i read , but I was surprised in a negative way. I had a lot of issues with a lot of aspects of this book. I did end up sort of liking Lucas, to be honest, and at the least, I was happy to see him end up with Rory, so that's something positive. I would like to give this author another chance if I'm honest.
