Reviewed by Raphaela Leider erholt sich die Pendergast Reihe auch in diesem Band nicht von dem Abwärtstrend, den die Diogenes Triologie eingeleitet hat. Zwar besinnt man sich wieder auf die Stärken der frühen Romane und wählt eine eher selten in westlichen Romanen genutzte Mythologie als Grundlage und beginnt mit einem durchaus spannenden Plot, nur leider will man mit der Enthüllung rund um Constance dann doch zu viel, was eher lächerlich wirkt.
