Reviewed by Mrs MoriartyIch hätte nie gedacht, das ich mal ein Buch von Beth O'Leary so schlecht bewerten würde. Aber nun ist es passiert. Es fühlte sich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht nach der Autorin an. So eine lieblos geschriebene Geschichte hätte ich igr nicht zugetraut. Ich habe den Eindruck, es gab einen Vertrag und der musste erfüllt werden. Dabei blieb dann alles auf der Strecke. Ich fand die Figuren und ihre Gefühle unglaubwürdig. Klar, mir wurde ständig alles mögliche erzählt.Aber es war nicht spürbar. Vor allem kein prickeln, kein sich langsam auf aufbauendes Gefühl. Und dann dieser Quark mit den Ringen . Das sollte wohl locker, flockig, lustig sein...wo blieben O'Learys tiefer gehende Themen? Wo ihre realistischen Figuren? Schade, selbst das Setting blieb flach. Ein Klischee nachdem andren ohne Herz erzählt. Ich hoffe sehr, das es ein Ausrutscher bleibt. Gleichzeitig merke ich, das ich mich bei der Autorin nicht darauf verlassen kann, eine gute Geschichte zu lesen. Richtig schade!
