Probably my favorite nonfiction yet. It’s was incredibly honest, which felt simple, uncomplicated honesty. Refreshingly without shame. Not in the least pretentious, thought she has every reason to be in my eyes. The argonauts was a deep, long, late night conversation with a stranger, who slowly, through this one conversation becomes a close friend. You leave it feeling incredibly seen and whole. Wrapped by a blanket of understanding, of togetherness. Life feels worth living. It was alive and raw and tender and insightful and beautiful. I wish I had more of it.
