Omg, what a wild ride! The way Robin Hobb was able to make ME feel the anger, the hate, the devastation? I had to put the book aside from time to time, because I wasn't able to believe what just happened–the outrage! I was hurting so much with Fitz! And no, I won't accept this–there must be a way to heal this troubled young man and everyone surrounding him!

[4.5] pls i love this story, the world, the characters. i'm in a medieval fantasy heaven. it completely consumed my mind. and it was even better than the first book UUUUUUUGGGHHHH but there was something about the ending that was missing a little bit. i can't put my finger on it but i expected to cry but i didn't and i love my good cry

I think I may have liked this book even better than the previous one. The world and the characters seem completely real, and the reading experience is very immersive. I can’t wait to go back to this world :)

In diesem zweiten Band passiert recht viel.
