All crimes are born out of greed. Money, power, love, respect. What did the murderer of Radosław Skowron want or what could he have lost if he had not killed him? The case is being handled by Nikodem Ferenc, head of the district headquarters. He performs his duties very zealously: he personally receives a missing person's report from Radosław Skowron's wife and regularly spends nights patrolling the area around their estate. It quickly turns out that the careful attention to the case turns into an obsessive desire to meet Anna, the wife of the murdered man.
