Reviewed by Raphaela Um ehrlich zu sein, mochte ich Peter Pan als Charakter nie wirklich, somit ist hier jedes Buch, das ihn als den Bösewicht darstellt mehr als willkommen. Christina Henry hat wie immer einen wundervollen Erzählton und entwirft eine interessante Geschichte rund um den einen Jungen, der Peters Favorit war, den Ersten, den er mit zu seiner Insel nahm, um ewig mit ihm zu leben, aber nur zu Peters Bedinungen. Ja, ich hätte mal wieder auf den romantischen Subplot verzichten können, aber der Rest des Buchs war einfach wunderbar.

Reviewed by Diana MichaelisIch liebe das Konzept dieses Buches. Man nimmt ein beliebtes Kindermärchen und versucht es so realitätsnah wie nur möglich darzustellen. Christina Henry schafft es einige Rätsel der magischen Insel nach ihrer Vorstellung aufzudecken, und man liest bis zum Schluss gespannt mit. Meiner Meinung nach ging es zum Ende hin in die Extreme was Peters und Jamie's Verhalten anging. Dennoch sehe ich es als sehr gelungen an, da alles nahtlos ineinander übergreift und man erlebt so einige "Aaaah" - Momente, wenn man sich wieder an das originale Märchen erinnert.
