Reviewed by T 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟Es war furchtbar. Es war herzzerreißend. Es war traumatisch. Es war schmerzhaft. Es war verstörend. Es war perfekt. Ein fast 1000 Seiten Buch in ein Theaterstück umzuwandeln und dabei auch nur ansatzweise das richtige Gefühl, die richtigen Emotionen zu vermitteln scheint mir unmöglich. Doch sie haben es geschafft. Bereits im Kino war ich erleichtert. Es jetzt noch einmal gelesen zu haben, hat mir zwar das Herz zerrissen, doch ich konnte noch einmal in Hanya Yanagiharas perfekte Geschichte eintauschen. Und dafür bin ich dankbar.
