I feel like I'm not educated enough to be reading this book. It is certainly not for beginners, like myself, who have never read Angela Davis' books or never heard about the term "prison industrial complex". I'm sure I haven't understood half of the book completely therefore I will reread it when I am more educated. This book is probably really important literature just as Angela Davis is a really important activist.
