Reviewed by Dr Malini BhatWhile Finlay Donovan is Killing It starts with a truly fantastic premise, my overall experience was quite hit-or-miss. The chaotic energy of Finlay and Vero racing against the clock to unravel the central mystery was thoroughly engaging, and I appreciated how the Russian mafia subplot and Finlay's personal dramas added layers of complexity. My main issue was the sheer volume of storylines, which at times felt overwhelming. Furthermore, Finlay's character, particularly her reliance on others for childcare, wasn't a strong point for me, and I found the two love interests rather uninspired.

Ich bin ja eh ein großer Murder-Mystery-Fan, aber diese Mischung aus Murder-Mystery und Rom-Com könnte meine neue Obsession werden. Ich habe die einzelnen Charaktere so geliebt und musste so oft lachen und schmunzeln. Ihr müsst dieses Buch unbedingt lesen! Ein Glück, dass es mehrere Teile gibt.
