Reviewed by Joana🫧 Well… this one was definitely not for me 😭 Let’s start with the few things I did enjoy while reading #Doesithurt🌊 The writing was very easy to get through, so despite my issues with the story, I flew through the pages🤗 I also have to give some love to the grandpa who does the tattoos because he was honestly one of the most entertaining characters in the whole book🫶🏼 Unfortunately, almost everything else left me wondering what exactly was happening here? 😭 The plot felt so unnecessarily complicated while also being incredibly predictable🙄. We had dark romance, mystery, thriller, revenge, an isolated island, secrets, danger… basically every possible ingredient was thrown into the story, but somehow none of it came together in a way that made sense And honestly, I think the biggest problem was the execution. There were so many ideas that could have worked really well, but they weren’t developed in a way that made the story feel cohesive. Instead, everything felt messy and disconnected, and I never really became invested in what was happening😑 The predictability didn’t help either. I kept hoping for a twist that would completely change my opinion, but most things felt pretty obvious to me 😤 And please… if I never have to read “Does it hurt?” again😶🔪 I understood the title. I promise. We didn’t need the reminder every five minutes❌ So yeah…no thankssss . . . . Rating : 1,5⭐️ Spice : 5🌶️ Recommendation : ❌
