Rezension von BellaSchon bevor ich Teil 1-4 der Rose Hill Reihe überhaupt gekauft hatte, wusste ich, dass dieses Buch für mich eines der Elsie Silver Bücher sein würde, auf dass ich mich am meisten gefreut hatte und dass mich wahrscheinlich auch am meisten mitreißen würde. Und so war es auch. Die Geschichte zwischen Gwen und Bash hat mich von Anfang an so mitgerissen, dass ich das Buch innerhalb von 36 Stunden durchgesuchtet habe. Ich fand die Entwicklung ihrer Beziehung so emotional, besonders in Bezug auf ihre jeweiligen Vergangenheiten, es hat mich einfach umgehauen. 🥰💜 OBSESSED 🫶🏻

I need more. I can’t breath without her books. Can we please talk about how everything is connected? The scenes with characters from the other books? FUCKING GENIUS I am so in love with every character and every place. I’m dreaming about living with a hot man who’s training horses and who has a child, thanks to Elsie Silver But it’s alright, maybe I will find my Cade Eaton, Beau Eaton or West Belmont ❤️🩹

Es ist mir egal, wo wir sind, solange wir nur zusammen sind." Ein gelungener Reihenabschluss, ich will Rose Hill gar nicht verlassen. Alle Charaktere der Reihe kann man wirklich nur ins Herz schließen. Der Einstieg fiel mir anfangs etwas schwer, aber sobald ich richtig in der Geschichte drin war, bin ich nur so durch die Seiten geflogen. Wild Card ist ein locker, leichtes Buch zum abtauchen und versinken. Als ich gelesen habe, dass es sich um einen Age-Gap und „Vater vom Ex“-Trope handelt, war ich sofort Feuer und Flamme für die Geschichte. Elsie Silvers Schreibstil ist einfach großartig: locker, humorvoll und gleichzeitig voller Gefühl. Die Mischung macht ihre Bücher besonders und sorgt dafür, dass man ständig weiterlesen möchte. Die Charaktere sind unglaublich sympathisch und wachsen einem schnell ans Herz. Man fühlt mit ihnen und fiebert richtig mit. Gwen wirkt stark und unabhängig, hat aber gleichzeitig auch ihre verletzliche Seite. Bash hingegen bringt diese ruhige, beschützende Art mit, die perfekt zu ihr passt. Gerade dieses Zusammenspiel aus Stärke und Verletzlichkeit auf beiden Seiten macht ihre Beziehung so interessant. Besonders schön fand ich, wie sich ihre Verbindung nach und nach entwickelt von einem schon fast Katz-und-Maus-Spiel. Und dann ist da noch Clyde – für mich ganz klar der heimliche Star der Geschichte. Mit seinem Humor und seiner subtilen Art, die Dinge ein wenig in die richtige Richtung zu lenken, sorgt er für viele unterhaltsame Momente, ohne dass Gwen und Bash es so wirklich merken. Der kleine Waschbär auf dem Cover ist auch ein richtig süßes Detail, der ein paar mal seinen Auftritt in dem Buch findet. Ich sage nur die Szene mit dem Waschbärbuffet 😍 Insgesamt eine emotionale, humorvolle und sehr unterhaltsame Geschichte, die ich definitiv weiterempfehlen kann.
