~Maybe I'm over exaggerating but I absolutely loved this book in every way imaginable. I don't know how to explain it but it was the perfect epic fantasy read and I just could not put it down once I got past 60%!!! I know that sounds like a lot but with all my other reads too, I was able put this one down til I wasn’t!!! And now wished I read it faster and sooner and in one setting….. ~This book is full of secrets and betrayal and fae and gods and shifters. It's got hidden identities and enemies to lovers that try so hard not to fall for each other. ~I'm telling you this book was both angsty as it was chaotic. The mystery will have you feeling like Aghhh and the family drama will make you go like Woah! (it was giving family drama as messed up as the Cruel Prince and I was here for it). At times it did get awkward, and perhaps for some this type of family dynamic might make someone lose interest in the story, but it's exactly what kept me going. I had to have answers answered!!!!! Some were and now onto book two! "It's alright. You're beautiful just as you are. I want you just as you are.” ~It's a romantic fantasy sorta, but it's also more an Epic Fantasy. It’s full of magic and whimsy and it's got a Morally Grey Shadow Daddy who likes to make himself invisible and sneak around with our best girl. She’s a fierce woman with secrets she doesn’t even know she has…. Please give her more credit and actually try to finish the book Bristol is what we all want in our FMCs especially 67% into it!!! And by the end of the book you’re like let’s go girl!!!! ~I do recommend this to readers who are looking for a fantasy romance that isn't over the top with spice or romance since it's a subplot and a world that is easy to keep up with if you pay attention…. Lots of people DNF 10% in and didn’t give it much of their time when it’s actually sooooo good!!! Again it’s an Epic Fantasy first romance is second….. Your Menu whoops 😬 I mean Trope List: Adult Fantasy Reluctant Allies Enemies to Lovers Morally grey MMC Slow Burn Forbidden Romance Royal Court Intrigue Past Betrayals Found Family He Falls First Hidden Magic
