Her writing is beautiful and even though has a very slow pace is easy to read. However the characters and their reactions are completely unbelievably. All of a sudden everyone is in love with the singer understand opera touches many feelings and the people there were opera lovers but come on. Also, these people were supposed to be kidnapped not in an opera camp!!! Do you really think they all relax and enjoy the opera with out worries or even frictions of being kept prisoners… Is fine if she wants to romanize opera but find another setting not a hostage situation…

die erste hälfte vom buch fand ich recht zach, aber die letzten 100 seiten waren dann mega catchy und die story hat mich doch noch gefesselt - ich mochte das ende, weil es so abprupt kam und iwie voll gut geschrieben war (wir ignorieren den epilog den fand ich unnötig und unrealistisch)
