Reviewed by Mrs MoriartyEhrlich gesagt hatte ich lange überlegt, ob ich diesen dritten Band überhaupt lesen möchte. Band 2 hatte mich ziemlich enttäuscht und ich hatte Sorge das es mir nun wieder so ergehen könnte. Vielleicht konnte mit Rainbow Rowell auch gerade deshalb positiv überraschen. Nach wie vor finde ich zwar das "Carry On" definitiv als Einzelband bestens funktioniert hätte, aber dieser hoffentlich nun wirkliche Abschluss war einfach schön. Simon setzt sich endlich wirklich mit sich und auch mit seiner Beziehung zu Baz auseinander. Er überlegt, ob er weiterhin in die Welt der Magie passen möchte oder lieber einen ganz neuen Weg einschlagen will. Auch Penelope, Shepherd und Agatha haben wieder ihre Kapitel, auch wenn sie lange so nebenher plätschern und es zunächst nicht klar ist, was sie nun mit dem Rest der Handlung zu tun haben. Nach und nach fügt sich dann doch alles zusammen. Natürlich gibt es das meiste Chaos wenn sie dann alle gemeinsam agieren :lachen: Es hat aber auch überraschend Spaß gemacht Penelopes Perspektive zu verfolgen, die mich ehrlich gesagt sonst immer leicht gelangweilt hatte. Aber endlich versteht man weshalb Simon sie so cool findet und warum eigentlich alle ohne sie ziemlich verloren wären *gg* Im Grunde geht es in diesem Band vor allem darum, das alle Figuren sich selbst finden und das auch ohne sich die ganze Zeit nur auf Simon zu beziehen. Und Simon lernt, das er nicht alles verliert, nur wenn sich mal nicht immer alles um ihn dreht. Es hat einfach Spaß gemacht einmal mehr in die Welt von Simon und Baz einzutauchen und die Augen darüber zu verdrehen, in welchen Schlammassel sie sich jetzt mal wieder gebracht haben. *g*
