Reviewed by Lele Ich war echt gespannt auf die Geschichte und bin ohne Erwartung ins Lesen gestartet. Das Buch teilt einige sehr wichtige Grundgedanken mit. Es hinterfragt die grundlegenden Strukturen unserer Gesellschaft und unseren Umgang mit "Nutztieren". George Orwell lässt die Tiere in seinem Roman so menschlich wirken, dass der Leser sein Verhalten oder das Verhalten der Menschen im Bezug auf Tiere & ihre Haltung stark hinterfragt. An manchen Stellen war mir der Roman aber tatsächlich etwas langatmig. Nichtsdestotrotz ein gutes Buch, dass jeder einmal gelesen haben sollte! 3/5 ⭐️
