Will Gompertz ist ein englischer Kulturjournalist und Autor. Sieben Jahre lang war er einer der Direktoren der Londoner Tate Gallery, bevor er bei der BBC als erster Kunstkorrespondent tätig wurde. 2009 präsentierte er beim Edinburgh Festival ein Ein-Mann-Comedy-Programm über moderne Kunst. Daraus entstand sein erstes Buch „Was gibt’s zu sehen? 150 Jahre moderne Kunst auf einen Blick“ (DuMont, 2013).
