Coleman Barks ist ein US-amerikanischer Dichter und Autor. Drei Jahrzehnte lang lehrte er Englisch und Dichtung an der University of Georgia. Bekannt ist er insbesondere für seine Bücher „The Essential Rumi“, „The Soul of Rumi“ und „Rumi: The Book of Love“.
