Andreas Blank

Andreas Blank ist Philosoph und war als Privatdozent und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität Paderborn tätig. Zudem war er Visiting Fellow am Center for Philosophy of Science der University of Pittsburgh und am Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science der Tel Aviv University sowie Vertretungsprofessor an der Universität Hamburg. Zu seinen Veröffentlichungen gehören „Der logische Aufbau von Leibniz’ Metaphysik“ (2001), „Leibniz: Metaphilosophy and Metaphysics, 1666–1686“ (2005), „Biomedical Ontology and the Metaphysics of Composite Substances, 1540–1670“ (2010) und „Ontological Dependence and the Metaphysics of Individual Substances“ (2015). Außerdem gab er den Band „Animals: New Essays“ heraus.
