3.5⭐ As someone who's familiar with Japanese (and other Asian) films, tv shows and music, this was my first time reading a Japanese-inspired book. I was so very pleased! You could feel the Japanese in this. It's creative and absolutely cinematic, and it truly felt like a movie inside my head. I was invested the entire time! People comparing this to Ghibli were not wrong: it's just as crazy and beautiful. By the way, loved the short chapters!
Keishin is such an annoying MMC.
