Rezension von VerenaHCIch bin froh, dass ich das Buch beendet habe. Es war keine einfache Lektüre und hat auch nicht besonders Spaß gemacht. Besser gesagt, es hat überhaupt kein Spaß gemacht es zu lesen. Aber ich wollte unbedingt wissen, wie alles endet. Beide Hauptcharaktere Eitan, der Arzt, und Sirkit, die Eritrearin, sind keine Bilderbuchmenschen. Sie haben Ecken und Kanten und tun nicht immer "das Richtige". Die Autorin schreibt so gut, dass ich mitgelitten habe. Zeitweise wollte ich Eitan schütteln, damit er zur Vernunft kommt. Es ist wirklich ein gutes Buch, aber eben kein Wohlfühlbuch.
