When the words on the pages become so precious that they feel like part of your own history because they are."</i></blockquote> My brain is mush, I'm all warm inside, and I truly have no words to decribe this book and how it made me feel as I was reading it. It's like nothing I've ever read before. The writing is BEAUTIFUL, and the way everything came together... just wow. I already wish I could read this for the first time again.
Rezension von Jassi~ 3.5 stars - I really enjoyed the atmosphere and fantasy elements of the book, but i am still confused about what and why things happened. The characters were bland, had no development in the book and there was no real storyline. But if you like fantasy and just want to read something fantastical and beautifully written, this is for you!

Rezension von JuliaDark Academia Extravaganza! Wenn jemals jemand eine Mottoparty für mich ausrichten will, ist dieser Roman eine Gebrauchsanweisung! Das World Building ist extra klasse und die narrativen Diskurse, die hier lieb verpackt werden, ein feines Gimmick für ein Buch über Bibliophilie oder besser über die Liebe für Geschichten und fürs Geschichten erzählen. Denn Geschichten werden ohne Ende erzählt. Das bremst gelegentlich den Erzählfluss, und ist trotzdem irgendwie gut gemacht. Der Hauptstrang denkt sich gelegentlich um die Ecke und franst ein bisschen aus, findet schließlich aber zurück und dreht dann sogar noch eine originelle Pirouette. Kurzum: wenn du Bücher magst oder Märchen oder Liebesgeschichten oder spektakuläre Feste oder Fantastisches oder Mysteriöses oder Abenteuer oder Abenteurer, dann bist du hier richtig.
