Rezension von AnnikaIch würde mich den Bewertungen hier auf Goodreads anschließen und dem Buch ca. 3,5 Sterne geben. Bis Seite 150 war ich kurz davor abzubrechen. Das Englisch ist zwar super leicht zu verstehen und auch die ersten 50 Seiten habe ich super schnell und gerne gelesen, aber dies änderte sich dann jedoch ziemlich schnell. Ich fand es seltsam das Avery nach ca. einem treffen mit Brooks gleich den ganzen Tag nur noch an in gedacht hat und sich Sorgen gemacht hat als wären sie in einer ganz schlimmen Beziehungskrise. Ab dem Song Contest ging es jedoch steil bergauf. Es passierte immer mehr und man war richtig in der Geschichte drin. Es ist ein nettes Buch für zwischendurch (wenn sollte man es im Sommer lesen) aber ein Highlight war es leider nicht, dafür haben sich die 100 Seiten leider zu lang gezogen. Auch das Ende war zu sehr ein gewolltes Happy End und wurde einfach nur noch schnell hinzugefügt.
