"Wait, is this fucking play about us?" - this book was baaaaad for me (so maybe good?). Seeing the blind passion held before you like this really makes you realize one thing or the other. Like how STUPID you behave and how little worth you give the rest of your life when you’re in love… I felt sorry for her and then for me and all woman. But maybe I shouldn’t cause this desire is such a beautiful thing to experience? Beautifully written, like what do you mean you were „burning up a capital of desire“. Passages that made me audibly gasp, put shock and disgust all over my face and at the same time made me long for feelings like this. The footnotes were very interesting, as it connects the dream world of the past to the realization of now. So short but everything that a good book needs, LOVED IT!
