Rezension von Elci BonesMan kann seine Ehe ja auf viele Weisen auflockern, aber Mord sollte definitv von der Liste an Möglichkeiten gestrichen werden. Die Geschichte wird aus der Perspektive des Mannes erzählt und ich fand es sehr spannend, dass er irgendwie der passive und sanftmütigere Part ist, der von seiner Frau manipuliert wird. Diese Beziehungsdynamik hat auf jeden Fall dazu beigetragen, dass ich mich irgendwann gefragt habe, wie weit die beiden noch gehen werden.4 Erschreckend war auch, dass sie zwei Kinder hatten,, die von dem Geheimnis nichts wussten. Vor allem, als die Tochter durch die Morde in der Stadt psychische Probleme entwickelt und der Vater dann die Kurve kriegen und damit aufhören will - nicht so die Frau (ich spoiler jetzt nichts weiter). Ein paar Wendungen haben mich überrascht und es gab ein paar Momente, die fand ich ein wenig verwirrend, doch alles in allem fand ich das Buch richtig gut und es führt einem doch vor Augen, dass man schnell von Menschen getäuscht werden kann und sie vielleicht gar nicht richtig kennt.
