Soo gut!!!
3,5 ish / 5 This book was actually quite nice. It is an academic rival to lovers with a twist in it and I really enjoyed that twist. It was well written and it kept me curious on what would happened next. I love the whole Beijing Ghost idea and this is what truly made the story interesting, I think otherwise it wouldn’t have been so good. I really enjoyed Henry’s and Alice’s academic rivalry and I understood why she felt the way she felt about him, even though she was very quick to judge about most things. I love the character development that she had when realizing that she was quick to judge and things weren’t that easy for him too. I enjoyed their friendship or whatever phase of relationship that was during the Beijing Ghost era more than their relationship in the end
That was a really good read :0 good mix of action and romance. And actually, the character act realistically. I also love the message
This book was everything.
