Rezension von Caroll-Ann📖 Icebreaker by Hannah Grace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I finally picked up this book after hearing so much about it on BookTok and Bookstagram, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I completely fell for Nate, there’s no doubt about that. He’s such a genuinely good person, and I liked him from the moment he was introduced. I liked Anastasia as well, but Nate definitely holds a special place in my heart.I’m a huge fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope, and this book executed it perfectly. What I loved even more, though, was that the story wasn’t just about the romance. The friendships were just as important, especially the bond between Anastasia and Nate’s teammates. It had a found-family vibe that made the story feel warm and comforting, even if it wasn’t technically a found-family story.The book also touches on deeper topics such as mental health, eating disorders, family dynamics, and friendship, which added a lot of depth to the narrative. In fact, I think the friendships were one of the strongest and most memorable aspects of the entire book. The only character I couldn’t stand from the very beginning was Aaron, what an absolute jerk. Aside from him, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This definitely won’t be the last book I read by Hannah Grace. I’m excited to see what other stories she has to tell.
