Rezension von LenaThis was cute. And funny. And had a good moral in the end. But. There were 1,5 open door scenes and that’s why it’s 3,5. I don’t get why every book now needs to have those. I would have been perfectly content with PG-13.

Rezension von Monika Reread January '24: passed the reread test. Still amazing. ____________ Original review: What an absolute banger to end the year with and fly through in a day, no less. Folks, we have it, the perfect Christmas romcom! Emily Henry's "People We Meet On Vacation" meets "When Harry Met Sally" meets all the hectic airport scenes from "Home Alone", and I loved every single page. In fact, I will be buying a physical copy to be reread on future Christmases. Not a single eyeroll from me. I thought the third act conflict would annoy me since it kinda came out of the blue, but it was resolved so fast, I don't care. Do I like friends to lovers after all? The banter is fantastic, the love interest non-toxic, the characters all distinct and well developed, even the ones we barely spend time with. The plot is ridiculous, but thats what makes a great Christmas story, right? Solid 5/5 and I will keep the author on the radar.
Rezension von SusanI went into the book with the idea of reading a cute christmassy romance just for fun and to be honest I expected it to be a 3 star read. But this book fully suprised me! I connected with the characters a lot and the banter between the characters quickly made me fall in love with Andrew and Molly. I couldn't have chosen a better book to be my first Christmas romance ever. The book also switched back and forth between now and one of their earlier flights together and I think this was really cute because you could follow their friendship all the way from the start till their more than a friendship now. I definitely recommend this book! :)
