Big Feelings ❤️ Insgesamt eine coole Reihe mit Märchen, Magie und Zauberei, es passiert aber so viel, dass ma oft nicht komplett mitkommt. 4.0 ⭐️

Finale war für mich der stärkste Band der Caraval-Reihe von Stephanie Garber. Der Anfang der Reihe war etwas holprig, aber das Ende hat die Geschichte sehr schön abgerundet. Die vielen überraschenden Wendungen und das schnelle Tempo haben die Handlung sehr spannend gemacht. Nur bei Jacks hätte ich mir am Ende noch etwas mehr Klarheit gewünscht. Insgesamt hat mir die Reihe aber viel Spaß gemacht. 🎪

Wie auch schon die ersten beiden Teile ist auch “Finale” ein Bild- und Farbgewaltiges Spektakel. In diesen Büchern werden die Dinge einfach so unglaublich gut beschrieben, dass die Fantasy auf Hochtouren arbeiten. Genau das quasi, was Caraval den Spielern auch verspricht. Der 3. Teil ist, wie auch die ersten Beiden, unglaublich spannend, zwischendrin dann aber doch auch verwirrend. Man springt immer wieder zwischen den POV’s von Scarlett und Donatella hin und her und jede von beiden hat andere Prioritäten. Aber zum Ende hin rundet sich alles sehr schön ab und man hat einen absolut gelungenen Abschluss

I had high expectations for this book and unfortunately it could not meet all of them. After reading „Legendary“ I couldn’t wait to start „Finale“ - so I didn’t... and was swept of my feet by Dante, Julian and Jacks and lived through various adventures with Tella and Scarlett, but there were still some parts I didn’t like that much. In „Finale“ I lived through more than enough adventures to fill a whole new series. That made this book even harder to put down than the second one, but I also couldn’t really get comfortable in one scene. The next plot twist and dangerous game were always just waiting on the next page. This book should have had at least 100 pages more ... Also I didn’t like the almost ending (the true ending was perfect though). It was not the thrilling and devastating scene I was expecting and felt way to easy in the end. The romance in this novel always remained present and shaped the storyline a lot (and that’s a good thing because I am a sucker for romantasy). I got to know a new side of Julian and fell in love with him all over again. He also has a new rival for Scarletts affection, but that man doesn’t play the role I hoped he would. Dante and Jacks are very different and in some aspects exactly the same. That’s what made the „love triangle“ between each of them and Tella so exciting. You never know if one of them will betray her trust and who’s love is true or who just wants to possess her. The Fates, their fated objects and places gave the story a mystical touch (besides legend himself of course). The different characters of the Fates made for intriguing conversations. I mean: one fate can not lie and another makes you spill every secret. What’s not to love? I would have preferred to see a bit more interaction between Scar and Tella. One reason, why I loved the first book so much was the importance of love between sisters. While love still has a big role in this finale it overshadowed the sister aspect a bit. This „Finale“ of the best series I ever read might not have met all my expectations, but I would still recommend it to everyone. You should not miss out on the magical world of Caraval.
