Rezension von Louisa JahnkeAnfangs fiel es mir schwer rein zu kommen, ich habe das Buch auf Englisch gelesen. Prinzipiell ist es einfach geschrieben und nicht zu komplex, dennoch waren die unterschiedlichen Zeitstränge schwierig abzugrenzen, da diese teilweise nicht explizit angegeben waren zu Beginn den jeweiligen Kapitels. Die Geschichte rund um Daphne und ihre Nachrichten, wie lange sie mit einem Mann zusammen ist war schön umgesetzt. Für mich zog sich die erste Hälfte des Buches sehr und ab einem gewissen Zeitpunkt war abzusehen worauf es hinaus läuft. „One italian Summer“ von der Autorin hat mir deutlich besser gefallen. Dennoch war es eine leichte und nette unterhaltung.
