Rezension von JuliaJansson ist einmalig, kristallklar in ihrer Erzählstimme, bunte Funken sprühend in ihrer Vorstellungskraft. Manchmal sind ihre Erzählungen so einfach, so alltäglich, doch dann öffnet ein magischer Satz, ein zauberhafter Moment die Tür und die Stimmung verändert sich. Die Wörter leuchten ganz unterschiedlich: wie im warmen Kerzenlicht unter einem Weihnachtsbaum, oder im blau-grünen Grottenlicht, wenn die Sonne durch die eingeschneiten Fenster dringen möchte, oder wie Sternenlicht, das nachts in ein Zimmer scheint, wenn die Bewohnerin plötzlich wach ist und nicht wieder einschlafen kann. Eine großartige Autorin und ich bin sehr glücklich noch so viel von ihr entdecken zu können. “…bis ich auf die letzte Landzunge hinauskam, und dort waren sie, all die schwarzen Wintermenschen im Licht dieses fürchterlich blendenden Frühlingstages.” PS: den Stern Abzug gibt es für den Verlag Lübbe, weil die Geschichten zwar von gutem Vor- und Nachwort umrahmt sind, aber die Zusammenstellung sonst recht lieblos ist: Jahreszahlen, Werkeinordnungen - all das fehlt.
