Rezension von Melanie Ich kann’s schwer beschreiben. Ich war anfangs voll drin, die Tatsache, dass Grace ihre Eltern verloren hat und ins Unbekannte nach Alaska aufbricht um auf ein Internat ihres Onkels zu kommen, hat mich abgeholt. Fand ich nen guten Start. Der Schreibstil war einfach und stellenweise schnippisch und lustig was es leicht gemacht hat am Ball zu bleiben. Ich hab mir halt ständig gedacht: Mädel, wann checkst du eigentlich, dass an deiner Schule gewaltig was faul ist und eben nicht „normal“😅 Ich fand den Storyaufbau gut gemacht und als Grace dann endlich Licht ins dunkle bekam, hat das Buch irgendwie eine heftige Wendung gemacht und ich fand’s irgendwie nur noch lahm. Achtung Spoiler: Die Vampirbraut die Rache wegen ihres verstorbenen Partners nehmen will und plötzlich völlig aus der Bahn gerät war mir persönlich dann doch ein bisschen too much. 🤷🏻♀️ Ich weiß tatsächlich nicht ob ich weiter lesen werde. Am Ende hatte ich jetzt nicht so dieses feeling: Boa ich muss unbedingt weiter lesen.🙈

Rezension von Julia BoschDie Story dahinter ist echt gut. Es lässt sich leicht lesen. Typische Teenie Story ohne Spicy, aber das tut keinen Abbruch. Manchmal ist mir Grace zu blauäugig, kann aber auch an dem Alter liegen. Sie verkörpert ja eine junge Erwachsene. Ich lese die Reihe aktuell das 2. mal.
