Jeanine's calendar alerts are out of control. The month of December brings so much stress Jeanine craves some alone time and sweet romance with her husband of twenty years. At the last book club meeting of the year, the book inspires the rest of the club to issue a Christmas service challenge. Before Jeanine can object, the ladies plan the rest of the month, filled to the brim with acts of kindness, most of which go hilariously wrong.
