Rezension von LarissaEmerys Amnesie hat zwar meinen Lieblingsmoment hervorgebracht ("I killed her."), aber ich bin trotzdem kein großer Fan von diesem Trope. Insbesondere, weil Cameron trotz seiner Versprechen weiterhin so wechselhaft/wahnsinnig bleibt. Ich verstehe, woher es kommt und das es am Ende nötig für ihn war, aber ich mag es dennoch nicht. Der Schreibstil ist jedoch wieder mega und im Großen und Ganzen mag ich die meisten Charaktere auch (mit ein paar Ausnahmen, aber die sind auch nicht so geschrieben, dass man Sympathie empfindet).

Rezension von ConziI don't know what to say... Who the hell is Reed really!?!? I NEED TO KNOW!!! I have a few things in mind. But DAMN! That guy has strings with everyone and everywhere!😂 I swear the fact that both Emery and Cameron survived so much is astounding! Supernatural almost because of those Death Pills... The storyline was really good, but I have so many questions! And I want answers! 🤣 I really thought there would be a different ending to behonest. I'm not a 100% happy with the last 3 chapters. Everything happens really fast all of a sudden and then BOOM 1 year later... Well yeah okay, better than the book Leave me behind at the end with 15 years later, so no complaints about that one year😂😂😂 Overall it's a good book! With an open ending again 🫣 So we'll see about the next book "Bulletproof"😅 Hopefully I'll get all my answers in that one.
Rezension von anotterbookwormFür mich war es bisher der schwächste Teil der Dark Forces Welt, aber trotzdem sehr gut. Zu Beginn kam ich aufgrund der letzten Geschehnisse aus dem ersten Band rund um Em und Cam nicht richtig in die Story rein, das hat sich dann aber gelegt. Die Tension zwischen Em und Cam war wie im ersten Teil ihrer Geschichte unfassbar gut, der Spice hätte für meine Geschmack aber gerne weniger sein können. Das Ende macht auf jeden Fall neugierig auf “Bulletproof”. Wenn das dort nicht aufgelöst wird, flippe ich eventuell aus. An “Leave Me Behind” und “Your Knife My Heart” kam es nicht ganz heran, es hat mich nicht komplett emotional gekillt wie die ersten beiden Bücher.
