Rezension von BeanBevor ich meckere: Wenn ihr so Stranger Things Vibes mögt und cosmischen Horror dann gönnt euch das Buch! Hab das Buch 2025 gekauft und nach kurzem Reinschauen wieder weggelegt. Dieses Jahr wollte ich es dann endlich „hinter mich“ bringen. Leider ist das Genre - in diesem Fall cosmischer Horror - gar nichts für mich. Ich fand es wirklich anstrengend durch die Seiten zu kommen, auch wenn das Buch grundsätzlich gut geschrieben war. Nur deshalb konnte ich es auch durchlesen, sonst hätte ich es denke ich mal abgebrochen. Ich fand das Ende auch sehr enttäuschend, zumal ich endlos viele Seiten gelesen habe, um dann letztlich in einer Sekunde die Lösung zu sehen (die mMn viel zu einfach war) und das Ganze war beendet. Hat sich n bisschen so angefühlt, als hätte man nen Luftballon aufgeblasen und ihn dann platzen lassen. Hätte mir sehr gewünscht, wenn es da noch irgendwie mehr „Handlung“ zwischen dem Haus und der Protagonistin gegeben hätte aber man kann nicht alles haben I guess. Aber hey, ich habs hinter mir!
Rezension von Romina MühlkeEin sehr gutes Buch, aber nicht das Beste der Autorin. Es gab zwar sehr sehr brutale Szenen und gerade direkt am Anfang hatte ich auch ein bisschen Gänsehaut vom gruseln. Insgesamt war es aber eher ein sehr subtiler Horror und manchmal vielleicht ein bisschen langweilig. Trotzdem hat es mich durchgehend dazu gebracht weiterlesen zu wollen. Vielleicht ein gutes Einsteiger Horror Buch.
