Rezension von YasminaIch bin grad original am heulen weil was ist gerade passiert??? Bartholomew mein precious baby. Ich werde es nicht akzeptieren wenn dir irgendwas im nächsten Band passiert!!! Nein ich kann grad nichts schreiben muss eine Nacht drüber heulen. Wieso lese ich immer Bücher die mich auseinandernehmen ???
Rezension von Annika W.Die Welt und die Charaktere haben mir gut gefallen, auch den Plot an sich fand ich ganz gut. Ab der Hälfte wurde es leider für mich ein wenig langweilig und ich wollte es schnell beenden. Das Ende kam unerwartet und wie ich finde auch unnötig? Dachte es wäre ein standalone, was auf jeden Fall gepasst hätte. Vielleicht hatte ich nach One Dark Window und Two Twisted Crowns (gleiche Autorin) einfach zu hohe Erwartungen, denn die beiden Bücher haben mich absolut geflashed. Trotzdem ein gutes Buch, bin aber nicht sicher, ob ich den nächsten Teil lesen werde.

Rezension von Kati72Hörbuch Gelesen ist das Buch wirklich gut, so dass man das Gefühl hat einen Film zu gucken und taucht direkt in die Geschichte ab. Vor allem den Gargoyle hat die Sprecherin perfekt interpretiert, so dass ich teils echt lachen musste. Die Geschichte selbst, war genau mein Fall. Von Anfang an war es geheimnisvoll und spannend, so dass ich keine Probleme hatte in die Geschichte abzutauchen. Vor allem , da es mal was anderes war. Leider muss ich jetzt noch auf Teil 2 warten, der auf Deutsch leider noch kein Erscheinungsdatum hat. Für mich war es ein echtes Highlight, dass mich gefangen hat. Es war nicht einfach ein Fantasyroman, sondern eine Geschichte die einerseits düster und geheimnisvoll , aber auch emotional war. Die Protas sind starke und sympathische Charaktere , auf ihre Weise aber auch zart und voller Emotionen, so dass sie perfekt in die Geschichte und zueinander passen. Ok, Rory hatte erst was arrogantes an sich, was so nach und nach verfliegt. Die Welt konnte ich mir, dank des Schreibstils der Autorin gut vorstellen und wirkte auf mich beeindruckend. Ich war von diesem Auftakt wirklich begeistert und kann es jedem empfehlen, der es auch gerne etwas düsterer mag.
