Die Idee des Buchs hat mir sehr gefallen, die Umsetzung hingegen nicht wirklich. Es war oft langweilig und konnte mich leider nicht ganz überzeugen.
The Hollow Places is a really good horror story, more creepy than scary but it left a pit in my chest anyway. Made me watch the edges of my vision extra close. I will say though that it has the same ‘backbone’ as The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher. A woman in her thirties moves into a strange house and then stuff goes down. But The Hollow Places does something for me that The Twisted Ones wasn’t able to. For me it’s the better version of a very similar story.
In the beginning it was good but at the end i didn‘t get anything anymore idk i didn‘t like it in the end
