Rezension von Alina'The Glass Girl' ist das 4. Buch welches ich von Kathleen Glasgow gelesen habe. Es war wie auch die anderen Bücher sehr gefühlvoll geschrieben, die Verzweiflung, die Angst und die innere Gefühlswelt von Bella werden total nachvollziehbar dargestellt. Als Leser und äußerer Betrachter wird man von der Hauptcharakterin fast schon gegaslighted, wodurch man gerade am Anfang noch das Gefühl hat, dass die Alkoholabhängigkeit gar nicht so schlimm fortgeschritten ist. Insgesamt haben mich 'Girl in Pieces', "You'd be home now' und 'how to make friends with the dark' emotional aber mehr abgeholt. Das kommt aber wahrscheinlich darauf an für welche Thematik man sich persönlich mehr interessiert. 😊 Trotzdem: Klare Leseempfehlung.
