Rezension von FraniWhat did I just read? The plot was a mess, the characters felt like cardboard cutouts, and the so-called “plot twist” was one of the most absurd I’ve ever encountered. To quote Uncle Archer: “You can’t just replace a person, people would notice.” Ironically, Karen McManus writes this very line but seems to disagree with its logic. Unfortunately, the entire book leans heavily on this implausibility—and it doesn’t work.
