Rezension von PinarIch fand The Dare von Elle Kennedy wirklich super. 🥹❤️ Das Buch hat mir richtig gut gefallen. In dem Buch geht es um Taylor, die eher schüchtern ist und von ihren gemeinen Verbindungsschwestern auf einer Party zu einer Mutprobe herausgefordert wird. Sie soll ausgerechnet den beliebten Eishockeyspieler Conor verführen. Statt einfach mitzumachen, erzählt Taylor ihm ehrlich, dass sie nur wegen der Mutprobe auf ihn angesetzt wurde. Conor findet die Situation lustig und beschließt, ihr zu helfen. Die beiden tun daraufhin so, als wären sie ein Paar. Natürlich bleibt es nicht nur beim Fake Dating. Je mehr Zeit Taylor und Conor miteinander verbringen, desto mehr Gefühle entwickeln sie füreinander und irgendwann ist gar nicht mehr so einfach zu unterscheiden, was gespielt und was echt ist. Dabei geht es auch um Taylors Unsicherheiten und darum, dass sie lernt, mehr an sich selbst zu glauben. Ich mochte besonders die Beziehung zwischen Taylor und Conor. Die beiden hatten eine richtig schöne Chemie und ich fand es toll zu sehen, wie sie sich gegenseitig verändert und unterstützt haben. Conor wirkt am Anfang wie der typische Aufreißer, ist aber eigentlich viel fürsorglicher und lieber, als man zuerst denkt. Für mich war das Buch leicht zu lesen, witzig, romantisch und gleichzeitig auch emotional. Ich habe die Story richtig gerne verfolgt und wollte immer wissen, wie es mit den beiden weitergeht.
