Rezension von Bastian"Die vollständige Maus" ist ein echtes Meisterwerk – es ist ein literarisches Werk, das lange nachwirkt. Der schlichte Zeichenstil und die tiefgründige Erzählweise ziehen einen sofort in den Bann. Die Geschichte wird ruhig, ehrlich und ohne Effekthascherei erzählt, was sie umso stärker macht. Besonders beeindruckend ist, wie persönliche Erinnerung, Geschichte und zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen miteinander verwoben werden. Das Buch regt zum Nachdenken an und bleibt lange im Kopf. Es ist ein schwieriges Thema, aber das Buch ist echt super und wurde echt gut umgesetzt. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Bücherwurm und eine klare Leseempfehlung.
Rezension von CeliDer Comic hat mich mit einer Flut von Gefühlen zurück gelassen. Trauer, Scham, Schuld, Wut, Fassungslosigkeit. Art Spiegelmann zeichnete das Unbeschreibliche mit Tieren als Protagonisten, unterbrochen mit Anekdoten aus seinem komplizierten Verhältnis zu seinem Vater in dessen letzten Jahren als Überlebender. Ich lege die Lektüre jeder Person ans Herz, gerade in heutigen Tagen. Never again means never again for everybody.
Rezension von Zo zAnother graphic novel. I really liked the authors honesty, and how he included some of his own thoughts and moments processing his father’s stories. I’m glad he included that, it just adds to the tragedy of this part of history and shows the different layers of complexity.
