Rezension von Christopher Ein Klassiker der besonderen Art. Ich sehe darin weniger eine Liebesgeschichte als mehr eine Studie menschenlicher Abgründe. Der Stammbaum im Buch hat mir sehr geholfen die einzelnen Charaktere besser zuzuordnen!
Rezension von maike.readzEinen Klassiker zu lesen war mal eine echte Challenge 🤭 Am Anfang war es für mich sehr schwer die einzelnen Protagonisten miteinander in Verbindung zu bringen und durch den Schreibstil war es ein komplett anderes Lesen. Der Stammbaum in dem Buch hat mir aber sehr geholfen die vielen Zusammenhänge zu verstehen. Im Verlauf der Handlung wurde immer deutlicher, wie tiefgreifend die Verbindung zwischen den Protagonisten ist. Auch wenn die Protagonisten mir allesamt unsympathisch waren, hat mir sehr die Message hinter der Geschichte gefallen💗
Rezension von connyDas war mein erstes Klassikbuch und ich bin begeistert. Ja es ist sehr viel langsamer und auch komplexer was aber der Geschichte entspricht und die Tiefe und Verworrenheit der einzelnen Figuren unterstreicht. Ich liebe es wie die Autorin mit den unterschiedlichen moralischen Grundsätzen, dem Empfinden von richtig und falsch und dem Wunsch nach Befreiung spielt und uns eine ganz andere Liebe zeigt. Für mich passt alle zusammen, ich fühlte mit den Figuren und habe kaum eine ruhige Minute gefunden, wenn ich nicht lesen konnte. Man könnte sagen wie Heathcliff von Cathrine. Ein große Empfehlung für alle die sich auch an Klassiker Wagen wollen.
Rezension von Jenny Sturmhöhe ist kein einfaches Buch, aber ein bedeutender Klassiker mit einer außergewöhnlichen Intensität. Es vereint Themen wie menschliche Abgründe, toxische Dynamiken und gesellschaftliche Ungleichheiten. Die Liebe in diesem Buch ist tiefgründiger, roher und gleichzeitig zerstörerischer als in vielen anderen Liebesgeschichten. Sie ist nicht romantisch im klassischen Sinne, sondern intensiv, schmerzhaft und prägend. Genau das macht die Geschichte aber auch so besonders. 🥀
Rezension von TianaMein erster Roman der Brontë-Schwestern und ich bin begeistert. Die Charaktere sind unglaublich komplex und tiefgründig, was mir in heutigen Romanen oft fehlt. Eigentlich mag man keinen von ihnen, aber das ist auch irgendwie der Kern der Sache. Sie alle sind fehlerhaft, hassgetrieben und auch narzisstisch. Der Roman spielt in einer Song anderen Zeit mit anderen Regeln und Möglichkeiten. Für mich fühlt es sich so an, eine kleine Zeitreise zu durchleben. Insgesamt bin ich begeistert und freue mich auf weitere Werke.
