Besonders mochte ich, wie ruhig sich die Beziehung entwickelt – nicht dieses typische unnötige Drama, sondern viele kleine Momente, die die Geschichte besonders machen. Anna Savas schreibt unglaublich angenehm und gefühlvoll. Man kommt schnell in die Geschichte rein und fühlt richtig mit den Figuren mit. Gerade die Themen Verlust, Vertrauen und Neuanfang wurden sehr schön umgesetzt. Manche Stellen waren zwar etwas langsamer, aber genau dadurch hatten die Charaktere genug Raum, sich zu entwickeln. Für mich hat das Buch vor allem durch die Atmosphäre funktioniert – cozy, emotional und gleichzeitig irgendwie traurig-schön. Definitiv ein Buch für alle, die gefühlvolle New-Adult-Romane mit Tiefgang mögen.
