Rezension von NovasPagesGutes Entertainment. Rafe und Penny sind tolle Protas mit scharfen Zungen und Hang zum Nervenkitzel. Ihre Story ließt sich anfangs leichtherzig und kommt dann doch noch mit schnellem aber intensivem Herschmerz um die Ecke. + wir bekommen mehr Einblicke ins Leben von Rory und Angelo aus Teil eins und auch wenn sie mir dadurch nicht unbedingt ans Herz wachsen, scheinen sie doch nicht ganz so schlimme Hohlbrote zu sein. 🍞 + hier kommt man auf seine Mafia Romance- Kosten. Ausreichend verwundete Fingerknöchel, Headshots, Glücksspiel und Delux Markennamen aber immer noch wenig Italienisch + wir lernen viel mehr kennen Leben und Wirken der Visconti Familie und Devils Coast kennen. Endlich! Alles was im ersten Buch an Infos kam war halbgares Zeug. Jetzt gibts richtige Nebencharaktere mit richtigen eigenen Sidequests. - wie immer Kritikpunkt Zeitline, auch wenn wir uns hier nicht schon 4 Wochen nach dem ersten Kennenlernen die ewige Treue schwören…immerhin. Wohl nicht die beste, mind blowing Mafia Romance aber doch ein Easy read mit Spaß Faktor.

I flew through the book and enjoyed every second of it. this book showed rafes struggle with his superstition and pennys trust issues. they both knew they loved each other but couldn’t get over their issues. the way rafe broke up with penny made me so angry on behalf of penny but seeing him loosing his shit made up for it tbh. thanks to nico for keeping penny in dip <3 the way rafe groveled was so cute. he didn’t know the protocol but wanted to do everything to get penny back despite him believing she is unlucky for him. penny finally let herself completely fall for rafe and let him in. rory wasn’t as annoying towards the end but all in all i just can’t really warm up to her. angelo as well, i am just not that big of a fan.
