Rezension von Leonie S.An einigen Stellen nicht mehr ganz so aktuell was die Sichtweise auf manche Dinge, allerdings ein Buch von Stephen King, welches nicht viele langatmige Stellen hat (anders als andere seiner Werke). Hat mich beim Lesen auf jeden Fall gefesselt.
Rezension von FaKuStephen Kings zweiter Roman und neben Dracula einer der Klassiker der Vampirgeschichten. Manche Szenen in diesem Buch sind atmosphärisch so gut geschrieben, dass man beim Lesen tatsächlich einen erhöhten Puls bekommt.

Rezension von RaymondI love Salem’s Lot. I read it when I was 10 in one night. Freaked me out but I couldn’t stop reading until I knew the end. An all time favorite. Re-reading this book was like a walk down memory lane. All the old friends are there and even though it’s 2019 the book hasn’t aged a bit for me. This was the book I read before the first three Dark Tower books and it still affects me the same way. I’m grateful time has been kind to the narrative.
