Reviewed by Priya 4.5 stars!!! I've never read anything like this and I absolutely loved it. Reading about Sadie and how much she loves Mattie and what she's willing to sacrifice to find her killer was so tragic and so strong. I've never read about a character like Sadie before and because of that she is one of the strongest characters I've read about in a while. The way she cares about Mattie and tries to shield her from who her mother truly is and puts herself last for the sake of giving her a somewhat better childhood than hers is beyond anything I could ever see someone hear age bear. How she breaks when she hears about the murder and then picks herself up again to kill the man that stole her sister from her. I can't believe what Sadie had to go through and what she is maybe going through now, barely surviving and having to live with one half of her heart ripped out of her chest. But the one thing that makes me wanna destroy this book and set it on fire is the ending. In what world is that a good way to end a story like that???

Reviewed by MaxieHonestamente no sé que pensar, creí que el final iba a darme más de lo que fue, ya que me pareció más agridulce de lo que debía. Pero en general el libro es wow, como poco a poco te vas dando cuenta de las cosas, la forma más cruda en que narra Sadie... fue triste realmente y obvio me hubiese gustado un mejor desenlace, pero al final eso te ayuda a entender que no todas las historias terminan bien y que son cosas que realmente pasan. le doy un 4.0⭐ y solo espero que las chicas como Sadie puedan encontrar un mejor camino al final de su historias.

Reviewed by Monika If you want something that will break your heart, look no further. This is categorised as young adult but is very adult in its themes and language. Best on audiobook since parts of ot are in a podcast format with a full cast recording.
