Rezension von Ludowika BildsteinIch bin immer noch ein bisschen sprachlos. Dieses Buch hat mich von Anfang an total gepackt und einfach nicht mehr losgelassen. Die Geschichte von Joe und Aoife ist so intensiv . Was ich besonders geliebt habe, war, dass man sich nie sicher sein konnte, wohin die Reise geht. Kaum hatte ich eine Vermutung, wurde ich schon wieder überrascht. Genau dieses Gefühl hat das Lesen so spannend gemacht. Joey und Aoife haben mich emotional sehr getroffen. Ihre Entwicklung ging mir richtig nah, weil sie beide so viel durchstehen müssen. Ich habe so oft mit ihnen mitgefühlt und wirklich gehofft, dass sie ihren Weg finden. Und Aoife… ich habe sie unglaublich bewundert. Wie sie zu Joey gehalten hat, fand ich einfach stark. Diese Loyalität und die Verbindung zwischen den beiden haben ihre Beziehung für mich besonders gemacht. Richtig super fand ich auch, dass man einige bekannte Momente nochmal aus einer anderen Perspektive erlebt hat. Situationen dje man aus dem Band mit Shannon und Johnny kannte, haben dadurch plötzlich eine ganz neue Bedeutung bekommen. Das hat dem Ganzen nochmal mehr Tiefe gegeben. Für mich war das ein Buch, das mich komplett mitgenommen hat – emotional und von der Spannung her. Ich konnte es kaum weglegen und werde noch lange daran denken.

Rezension von EmmaIch dachte, du hast mich die anderen Bücher der Reihe schon gebrochen haben aber dieses war noch mal auf einem anderen Level. Es war so traurig und gleichzeitig so unfassbar gut. Ich glaube das ist mein Lieblingsbuch der Reihe absolutes Sechs, wenn ich sogar sieben Sterne Buch.
