Wunderschönes, aber sehr trauriges Buch. Musste es als Englischlektüre lesen und ehrlich, das war die beste Schullektüre, die ich je lesen DURFTE. Der Schreibstil war super angenehm, leichtes, einfaches, umgangssprachliches Englisch. Das Thema ist super super wichtig, Rassismus ist und bleibt in unserer Gesellschaft ein Punkt, über den man ganz oft nicht richtig informiert ist bzw. sich ganz schwer in die Lage anderer Menschen versetzen kann. An manchen Stellen kam mir das Buch echt wie ein Fiebertraum vor, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Modernere, härtere Romeo und Julia Geschichte. Nichts für schwache Nerven!!!
